Evening with the Girls!

I had a great time with the girls tonight! After watching "My Sister's Keeper" I had no eye makeup left on my face!!!! SO SAD.....I could not stop crying during this movie. I left with puffy eyes and a huge headache.Don't get me wrong it was a good movie. It's a great reminder to not take for granted having healthy children.
I was so thankful we watched "The Proposal" afterward..... It was SO funny and a great way to end the night. I am going to leave you with a song from "My Sister's Keeper"... it was so fitting and I just love this song.

Girls Night Out!!

WOO HOO!!! Tonight a group of teachers are going out to eat and to see TWO movies!! We are celebrating one of the teachers 30th birthday. Happy Birthday Heather!! So tonight I will be heading out to eat at Cracker Barrel and then off to watch "My Sisters Keeper" and "The Proposal". I am taking lots of Kleenex because I just know I will cry through the first one and then laugh through the second one. I really didn't plan on watching "My Sisters Keeper" at the movie theater... I really wanted to rent it on Apple T.V. when it came out and cry in the comfort of my own home. But when I got the call about dinner and a movie I couldn't pass it up. I'll let you know how it goes.
Gotta love Cameron Diaz & Sandra Bullock!

Show Us Where You Live Friday- Master Bedroom

Show Us Where You Live Friday- MASTER BEDROOM

Welcome to our master bedroom! As you can tell I love BIG dark furniture!!! Our bedroom furniture came from National Home Center. We bought it when we got married and still lived in Conway. We absolutely love it and are so glad we bought it when we did. The bed post at the head of the bed can move to the foot of the bed as well.... love that you can change it up a bit.
Here's where I need help! I am wanting some curtains but are unsure of exactly what I want. I know they are going to have to be made so I have been looking at fabric. Just not sure what style I want. I have never been a fan of curtains but it gets too bright in our room.... we are going to have to do something!!
We chose not to buy the attached mirror to our dresser. I didn't like the shape of it and it was optional. I found this mirror at Hobby Lobby... 1/2 off of course!!

This is the wall at the end of bed. Mike needed a place to sit and put on his shoes on and I just liked having a bench in the room. Can you guess where I bought it???? HA
Hobby Lobby is the place! The pictures above the bench are from Kirkland's.
Our armoire holds our t.v. in the top and Mike's t-shirts in the bottom. The huge picture above my jewelry armoire is from National Home as well.
Thats all folks. Hope you enjoyed the tour. Check out the host of Show Us Where You Live by going to Kelly's Korner.

IMAX and the Heat!

Monday we took our oldest nephew Jeremy to the IMAX Theater to watch the movie "Up". We had a lot of fun and enjoyed spending time with him. Jeremy seemed to have a lot of fun as well. We already have our next IMAX movie date planned.... "Toy Story 3" coming June 2010!! We ate at YaYa's in the Chanel shopping center. It was really good even though we were crunched for time before the movie.
Jeremy watched "Indian In the Cupboard" on the way to LR.

Jeremy in front of the cool fountain!

Uncle Mike and Jeremy with their 3D glasses on!
starburst + root beer= a great time

We live in the south and in the summer it gets HOT!!! It is too hot to do anything really. You can't go to the mailbox without breaking a sweat. I seriously don't want to know what it's going to be like in late July and August if it's already 98 in June!! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and finding ways to stay cool.

Show Us Where You Live Friday- Playrooms, Bonus Rooms, and Laundry Rooms

"Show Us Where You Live Friday- Laundry Room"

You are only going to see our laundry room in this post. When Mike and I built our house we knew that this was not where we were going to raise all of our children.... so it wasn't necessary to have a bonus room.
OLD

Long story short when Mike and I moved to Conway (before we moved back to Russellville) we bought our first washer/dryer set. It was the Whirlpool Cabrio. We loved them WHEN they worked. We had a lot of trouble out of them so we knew we wanted to sale them and find something else after we got it fixed AGAIN. Well we got lucky! So out with the old and in with the new!!! Mike's youngest brother & sister-in-law are moving to Syracuse, NY so he can go to law school! They were trying to sale their set (LG Steam Washer/Dryer) so we bought them and he sold ours for us! We switched yesterday just in the nick of time for today's "Show Us Where You Live Friday-Bonus Room/ Laundry Room".
NEW

I love these so far.... I did laundry ALL night! HA... Oh and the color of them makes doing laundry FUN!!
We use Wisk laundry detergent and Snuggle fabric softner.

I bought this at Hobby Lobby to hang our mops, swiffer, dry cleaning bag, etc!
Oh, how I LOVE my Dyson!! We got this at our first wedding shower a few years ago. If you don't have one or are looking for a new vacuum... I highly recommend you consider a Dyson! Like the commercial says... It never stops sucking!

Round 2

We went to the doctor last Wednesday for CD 12 ultrasound. I had 1 follicle that was 20mm so here we go!!!! Mike gave me my HCG trigger shot Thursday night in the tummy.... he did awesome.. don't get me wrong it HURT. Saturday morning we were scheduled for our 2nd Artificial Insemination. So Mike and I drove to Conway Friday night and stayed the night for the BIG day. When getting into the elevator at the hotel I noticed this HUGE picture hanging up. I thought it was kinda ironic since our BIG day was on Saturday!
We usually stay at Mike's youngest brothers house but they had company so we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn instead. Mike wanted the Hilton Honor points... HA!
The insemination went smooth and quick and my follicle had grown to 26mm! We are very hopeful but guarded. Here's a picture with the probe... HA... (a.k.a Bob Barkers microphone as Mike calls it!)
Now we WAIT! Thank you all for the encouraging words and prayers... keep them coming!

A year older...

Candles, cake, cards and more ...... that would only mean one thing... someone turned a year older! I love him even if he is a year older!! Ha! Saturday was Mike's birthday but we really didn't celebrate it until Sunday! Since Mike had to work Saturday we decided to wake up early and go eat breakfast at Stoby's with some friends of ours. Stoby's breakfast is the BEST!!! We finished the day by going to Valley Fest. We went over and watched the fishing derby, ate a funnel cake, had fresh lemonade and listened to the band Restless Heart.
Sunday afternoon we had a cookout and swam with family and friends. We had a great time.... I'll post pictures later!

Summer Time Fun!

Oh we LOVE summer! We have spent a lot of time by the pool
this weekend. We are so lucky to live in the same neighborhood as family. Mike's parents and his brother, sister-in-law and 2 nephews live a few blocks away from us. I foresee us spending many hours together soaking up the sun!!!
Last year our nephew Jeremy now (6 yrs.) wasn't to comfortable with water in his face but this year ....WOW..... he is like a fish!! His brother
Jax (2 yrs.) has always loved the water it doesn't bother him a bit! He is jumping off the diving board.... don't worry he has arm floaties on and quickly paddles along. It is the cutest thing!!! Check out the video below of Jax... please ignore my voice! HA
If you are wondering I am using a Flip Video to record.... They are SO cool and I love mine!

Jeremy below in motion!

Jax stopping for the paparazzi to take pictures before he jumps!
Hope ya'll enjoyed the pictures! I will definitely be scrapbooking them!
