Spring Break Adventures

I am sad to say but Spring Break is over..... Where did it go? I really didn't do much over the week. Slept in on Monday and laid around the house. I went shopping with my soon to be sister-in-law in Rogers on Tuesday (it poured on us and we were at an outside mall). Wednesday I watched my nephews! They are so fun! Thursday a friend and I went shopping in Fayetteville. We also stopped by one of my old sorority sisters house who was having a Southern Living Party/Birthday party!..... To bad we couldn't stay long because it was late and storming outside and we had a long drive ahead of us. I know we missed out on lots of fun! Today I cleaned house and caught up on laundry. Mike has been working late each night this week because the Elite Bass Tournament is in our town. Since he owns a hunting/fishing store he has been open late and has had the pros in doing interviews and such!!! This weekend I am going to rest and get ready to go back to work... yuck! I do miss my students but I don't want to go back and do standardized tests!! It is so hard for Kindergartners to bubble in circles!!! We will have to practice ALL week staying inside the circle!!!!! haha

Where did the weekend go?

Sometimes I think I blink my eyes on Friday night and BAM its Sunday night.... weekends over! I do have a busy week ahead of me and Spring Break is OH SO CLOSE!!! One of the many perks of being a teacher!!!

The good news is my sick husband is feeling much better! He had a horrible head cold, cough and slight fever. Not fun! We stayed home all weekend with the exception of going to the Turkey Federation Banquet Saturday night. Mike won a hunting blind full of hunting goodies and he bought me a framed Terry Redlin print from the live auction!! I love Terry Redlin prints... although they are pricey they are well worth it!! Now I have to find a place for it. HA

Lastly, I want to mention the weather. I am so ready for warm weather!! I think it is suppose to be in the 70's most of the week, so I am going to take advantage of it!! You never know with Arkansas weather. It might be 80 one day and snowing the next.... I'm not kidding!!

How do you take advantage of warm enjoyable weather?

I like to go on walks in the evening. We live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of walkers! I think I will clean the garage up too. Oh and I can't forget... I am going to go watch my brother who plays high school baseball on Tuesday evening!

YAY for Weekends..... BOO to Sick Husbands!

I am soooo very glad its Friday! Although I am going home to a husband who is home sick ....I am ready to lay on the couch and relax! Being a kindergarten teacher is an exhausting job sometimes too! I love what I do, don't get me wrong but I am ready for summer break!!! The only thing on this weekends agenda is to attend a Turkey Banquet with my husband... that is if he feels better. You no I am excited about that.....HA NOT!!! Hunting stuff is not my thing. I did marry a hunter who now owns his own hunting store but that hasn't changed my mind about trying it out myself. I would much rather scrapbook or go shopping!! I hope you all have a GREAT weekend!

We Have A Plan!!

YAY!! I have an new OB/GYN and we love her! We went to my new doctor today in Conway and got all of our questions answered! We have a plan and we know God is good and will answer our prayers when he fills its right. Lets talk about this past weekend. WOW!! It was so beautiful outside. Saturday I helped host a bridal shower for my soon to be sister-in-law. It turned out great and she got some wonderful gifts. Saturday night we had a couple over to eat. Mike cooked his famous pepper-jack cheese hamburgers. They were YUMMY! Sunday was spent mostly outdoors. We went and helped a 2 year old celebrate his birthday and we couldn't have asked for a prettier day! I hope you all have a great week!
