Next Month, Maybe?

Here we go again... You haven't heard much from me for the past month about all of this. I just haven't been in the mood to talk about infertility stuff. I honestly hoped that the next time I discussed this with you it would be about what worked for us and we would be announcing some wonderful news, but that isn't the case. However I continue to believe that we are getting closer and closer as each month passes. So here is the recap of this past cycle.

We used Letrozole cycle days 3-7 and Bravelle injections cycle days 14-18.
I responded somewhat well to Letrozole. I began using Bravelle injections because my follicles weren't maturing like they should. At my last follicle check they hadn't grown. So this cycle was a lose. He started me on Provera and told me to continue Estradiol to get us started on the next cycle. Then I will double my dose of Letrozole cycle days 3-7 and will begin Bravelle injections earlier in the cycle and see what happens.
So heres to another cycle of these lovely meds!

This will ALL be worth it in the end, when we are holding our bundle of joy in our arms!
Hope ya'll have a great week! It is suppose to rain most of the week here! YUCK

  2. I have been reading your blog for a few months now but have yet to leave a comment so I thought I would. I want for you to know that you and your husband are in my prayers each day. My husband and I have been going through infertility for about a year now and I know how hard it is. Lady please keep your head up! I know things can be extremely discouraging but God's timing is right. I will continue to pray for you and hope that he brings you a little one :) I have a quick question for you. I just started Lupron and Levonox shots. The next step is for me to get my period and start stim meds one being Bravelle. I was wondering how you did you respond to it? Is the actual shot painful? What are your side affects? I will also be combining this shot with another one but I was just curious. It' seems to help talking to other women going through the same thing maybe I'll be able to seem less crazy in my mind :) Have a great week and you are in my prayers!

  3. Whit-

My best friend Ashley tried for two years to conceive her son, Drew. You remind me so much of her and the struggles she fought. It will all happen as God intends, and like I told her everyday, you WILL be blessed with a baby-in one way or another. Hang in there and I will continue to pray for you and Mike. =)
