How Far Along: 11 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +6lbs

Marternity Clothes: I'm wearing a bella band

Sleep: I have crazy dreams that keep me tossing and turning most nights... I love my snoogle pillow though!

Best Moment this week: Scheduled the gender reveal ultrasound!

Gender: Not sure yet

Movement: small twitches in my uterus

Food Craving: fruit and brownies

What I miss: Nothing at all!

What I am looking forward to: the next ultrasound!

Symptoms: mostly tired

4 years later....

Emily has a BIG announcement!! 

We are beyond excited that baby #2 is on the way! We found out 3 weeks ago that we were indeed pregnant, but we finally got to see and hear the heartbeat yesterday!
It was music to our ears at 124 bpm! 

Here is the proud Big Sis-to-be!

7 Months Old

This sweet and sassy little thing is 7 months old!!!

Check out those eyebrows and finger pointing. That is serious stuff! HA

She is in as much shock as I am about what that sign says!

Oh the things these will be into VERY soon!

She is about to keep us on our toes.

At 7 Months you:

* wear size 2 diaper

*wear 6m clothes

* are teething BIG time

* will be crawling very soon

* get mad when we take things away from you that you shouldn't have

*like to grab at anything in sight

*take 2 naps a day and sleep all night

*cry when we leave the room

*love to look at pictures or yourself in the mirror

* still fall asleep in the car everytime

It's About Time

I am on cloud 9 right now!!!!!

This is the future home of Chick-Fil-A.... AHHH.... I can taste it already!

It's being built in front of another favorite store of mine, Hobby Lobby!

I absolutely love their food and really like the fact that we will be able to take Emily to play there too, when she is old enough!

Our town in finally moving up in the world!

6 Months Old

On June 5th Emily turned 6 months old!!

It is SO hard to believe that she is half way to turning 1!!!

Each month that goes by I think it's the best age but it just keeps getting better and better! She is SOO good and has the sweetest personality ever!

I waited to make this post until after we had her shots and received her stats.

6 Month Stats:

(Her weight is fluctuating do to her teething)

15lb 7oz- 35% in weight

26.5" long- 75% in length

Perfect BMI

At 6 Months you:

* Wear size 2 diaper

*wear 6m clothes

*LOVE your jumperoo

*sleep in your own bed

*LOVE to eat your solids... prunes are your favorite

*like to grab the spoon and feed yourself

*take 2 naps a day and sleep all night

*sit up on your own and reach to get things

*cry when we leave the room

* favorite toy is a squeaky pink hippo

First Family Vacation!

We are back from Gulf Shores and we had a BLAST!

Emily had her caricature drawn at Lulu's while we waited to be seated.... ADORABLE!!

This was a much needed vacation. I'm SO glad Mike bought the trip at JA Charity Ball.

We spent a LOT of time on the beach, minus a half day of shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall!

Emily did great the whole time! She slept most of the way and NEVER once cried.

We are SO lucky to have such an EASY baby! We literally can take her anywhere... I know the second one probably isn't going to be like this, so I am soaking up EVERY single minute of this!

We hit the beach early and took little breaks to go the pool or up to the condo to cool Emily off. We can't wait to go to the beach next year when she is able to walk and play more!

I already have a ton of ideas for the next trip!

I absolutely LOVE coming in from a day at the beach to get ready for dinner! We ate at a couple of delicious places... Mikee's Seafood, Lulu's, Wintzell's Oyster House and The Original Oyster House.

I really wish we could have stayed longer! We made some wonderful memories and we will never forget this vacation!

It's Been Awhile

We have had so much going on. Just in the past few weeks we have had little things and big things happening.

Last weekend I had a garage sale. I really like having garage sales but they are a pain to get ready for. I was surprise at how well I did and was thrilled to have some spending money for our trip. That is until the hubs jumped in the pool with his iPhone in his swim trunks and required a new one! Oh the joys.... so that was a wash.

Tuesday I signed a contract to teach again this coming school year. I seriously teared up signing it because this means I won't be home with Emily.

I'm excited and VERY nervous about it all. For one, I have taught Kindergarten for 3 years and have absolutely LOVED it!! I enjoy teaching the younger ones and never dreamed of teaching any other grade..... BUT that's all about to change. I am being moved to the elementary school and will be teaching either 4th or 6th grade due to the primary schools low enrollment. I am just beside myself. That is going to be a HUGE difference from what I'm use to. A new school, a new grade and not being with my sweet baby girl. Just praying it all goes smoothly.

Everyone has asked why I'm going back to work and not staying home with her.

I strictly took this past year off to get pregnant, not knowing that IVF wasn't going to be needed. We are not at a point in our lives for me to be a stay-at-home Mom yet, although I would LOVE to! There are things we still want to do.

We would like to move into a bigger house in the near future so Emily has more room to play and room for our family to continue to grow.

And honestly little girl clothes and accessories aren't cheap! HA

We are preparing for our first family vacation!! We are heading to Gulf Shores, AL very soon! I am SO excited about going to beach, eating yummy dinners and making memories with my sweet little family. Emily does great in the car, so we are sure it will be a smooth ride.... knock on wood! HA... We have our sun shade and sun screen ready!! WOO HOO

Can someone tell me how in the world I have a 6 month old already?!?!

My sweet baby girl will be half a year old tomorrow and her Daddy will be 27 on Monday! It's just crazy how fast things are going.
