Let It Snow!

Well folks, the snow is here!!
We had sleet all morning and now it has turned to SNOW!!
Mike went to work and said the roads weren't bad at all this morning.
Now that the snow has started, it has quickly covered the road!

I wonder how much we'll really end up with?

I am in for the day! I have all the blinds in the house wide open so I can watch the beautiful snow fall!

Here is a short video of it falling in our back yard.

I'll try and update the snow pictures later!
Hope ya'll that have snow are staying warm and enjoying it!

What's It Going To Do

Snow? I think so!!!
Right now we are under a winter storm watch.
Although I am not too fond of tacking days onto the end of the school year, unexpected days off here and there are a nice treat!

As you can see... I get excited when they call for winter weather!
Here's a picture from 2 years ago.
We had just moved into our newly built home when this happened!

Untouched snow is SO pretty....
until people start driving and the melting process starts and then it just gets plain GROSS!

Now we just wait and see if we get anything good!
Come on Ned Perme don't let me down! HA

Hello Again

I'm back.... well sorta.
I really haven't had much to say here lately. I mean really
"What do you say?" to what's happened.
As time passes things get a little better.
I hope that getting back to some kind of semi-normalness will help pass the time.

Last Sunday I began my first Beth Moore's Bible Study:
"A Women's Heart, God's Dwelling Place"

A friend and I are doing the study together at our church.
I have only heard good things about her studies, so there was no doubt that I wouldn't love it!
Quiet frankly I'm ready for either a REALLY good snow or for Spring to hurry up and get here! HA

Finding Peace & Having Faith

I have taken some time off work to deal with all the emotions I am feeling right now.
I have been home taking time to find peace and understanding.
I desperately need my body to hurry and take care of the miscarriage.

PLEASE LORD ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN AT LEAST
I don't want to have a D&C.

I am ready to get off this horrible roller coaster of ups and downs.
Mike keeps reminding me that everything I am feeling is normal. My body is going through so much. My hormones are going crazy. I still have some pregnancy symptoms and it's going to take time to heal.

The hardest thing about getting out and moving on is facing people again.
There is just a feeling of awkwardness. Some understand it and know what to say and others do not and just ignore you or say things that you just don't want to hear.
Right now you can just look at me and I might burst into tears. I'm sorry if this happens.

Mike and I have faith that we will get pregnant again!
The last two times we have gotten pregnant, we have done it on our own.
The first time was unmedicated and the second time I was on something but DIDN'T have
artificial insemination or IVF. We did it!
I feel like God is telling us to just TRUST in Him and it will happen.

I believe we can do it again without anything BUT Him.

Thank you all for the sweet comments, texts, phone calls, emails and prayers!

Whether you know it or not the prayers you all are saying are helping!

Numb

"Numb" would be the word that expresses how we are feeling right now.

VERY NUMB!

We went for our 2nd ultrasound today. A gestational sac was seen with hardly anything in it and no heartbeat. This is so hard for me to type right now but I know I need to do it now rather than later so I can begin the healing process.

There is a long road ahead of us but we WILL get through this.
This is our 2nd miscarriage.
I was 7 weeks 5 days pregnant today.
Please pray for us. We are not taking this well.
We know things will get better with time.

Just trying to keep the faith and praying for another miracle!

"For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper, not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. " Jeremiah 29:11

A New Year

2010
It looks to be a very big year for Mike and I.
One sure to be full of much joy and celebration. Now we wait with eager anticipation to meet our little one this coming August. I don't think August could get here any quicker!

I am going to be a nervous wreck until our next appointment, Jan. 6th which is also our 3rd anniversary ! Thank goodness it's not far away. I can't get it off my mind. I live in constant fear that something will go wrong. I am trying so hard to put all my trust in God! I am anxious, scared, excited and everything else in between. This appointment is special because it's the first one with our regular OB in Conway! Dr. Lawrence called the other day to congratulate us and made sure we had our appointment scheduled. Wasn't that nice!
We are praying for a stronger faster heartbeat and good growth!

Now FAITH is being sure of what we HOPE for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

I have only had 1 day that I have felt yucky!
So for the most part I have been feeling great. I almost wish I wasn't feeling so great so that my anxious mind could rest a little easier *remind me of this in a few weeks when my head is stuck neck deep in a toilet* HA

I got this cute dish towel for Christmas! I love it and can't wait for motherhood!
Baby Wilkins is already blessed with a few items he/she received this Christmas.
I would say "spoiled" but I am going to go with "blessed"!!

Here's a cute boy bib that says "I love my Aunt"
-gift from Aunt Morgan (aka Aunt Mo Mo) & Uncle Matt

Girl bib!

Baby Wilkins also got some cute little Razorback booties, a ducky onesie, gold spoon and a little shirt!

I wish you all a healthy and happy New Year!
Please say a little prayer for us as we approach our next appointment.
Can't wait to update you and show off some more ultrasound pictures.
God is so good!
