Catch Up Post

It seems that I have gotten WAY behind in blogging! Yikes... Time gets away so fast and then before you know it MANY things have come and gone and I never got around to sharing them. So here we go!

Emily with the McSpadden girls! We were at their soon to be baby sisters baby shower. They LOVED holding Emily and got some great practice in during the shower.

Aren't they just precious? They will make great big sisters and hopefully teach Emily how to be one someday!

What are these things Mom?

We are NOT a fan of green beans! Bless her heart she just gagged and made horrible faces with every bite. HA.... We will keep trying them and hope she gets use to them!

Lunch with some friends and our babies in Conway!

We forgot to take a picture at lunch with all of us. It was great catching up with them and having an adult conversation but of course we mainly just talked about our sweet babies.

We are ready to take this little cutie to the beach!

Just 1 more month and her little toes will be in the sand and her little booty will be in her first bathing suit! Can't hardly wait!

Easter 2011

We had a wonderful Easter!

It was pretty low key due to the nasty weather but very memorable. Easter service at church was packed but so good, followed by a yummy lunch.

I love celebrating and starting new traditions as a family of 3! So special and I hope I never forget any of it.

I have come to except that it will be a VERY long time before I get any pictures with all of us looking at the camera! HA

This sweet little girl has NO idea how blessed and loved she is!

The Easter Bunny was out of control this year.

She had no idea what was going on but just sat in awe of everything.

Off to eat Easter lunch!

Not to rush time but I can't wait until she is old enough to dye Easter Eggs, go on Easter egg hunts and learn about the meaning of Easter.

Wally World

Last night I had the pleasure of shopping ALONE at Wal-Mart! Emily stayed home with Daddy for a change.

As much as I DISLIKE going to Wal-Mart... the trip was much easier and more enjoyable going solo.

Ya'll it's hard carring a 20lb baby carrier across a LARGE parking lot to get a nasty cart that is usually broken! It never fails I always grab the one with the wobbly wheel. HA

So before I'm even get in the store I'm exhausted but baby needs diapers, food, etc., so onward we go. HA! But this trip I hopped my happy self out of the car and walked right in! What a treat!

Since I had all this extra time on my hands, I was able to scope out some new items.

When I got home Mike said Emily had broke him in good. She had a BIG shooie diaper that was out of control! I guess the carrots didn't agree with her tummy! HA

New Baby!

Welcome to the world Baby Kasyn!

Yesterday evening some friends of ours had their little girl. She weighed 7lb 14oz and 20" long. She is a cutie with a head FULL of hair! Her Momma will have FUN with bows!

They had her at the same hospital we had Emily and they are staying in the same room we did! We drove down to meet her yesterday and it was SO weird going back into that room! We ran into some of the nurses that took care us. It was so nice to visit with them and for them to get to see Emily as a smiling and interactive baby now!

Seeing baby Kasyn made me realize how you quickly forget how tiny newborns really are!

Emily and Kasyn will be in the same grade one day and I'm sure will be sweet little friends.
