I would like to know HOW 14 weeks is already here!!
This little girl is a BUNDLE of JOY and really ALL smiles!
I love this age and just wish I could bottle her up.

We are now sporting a bib on a regular basis!
She is drooling and is just a wet mess.

You are SO talkative these days! I love hearing you jabber and boy do you tell the BEST "stories"!

Emily's Dedication

Such a special day! Today was Emily's baby dedication at church.

We got to church early so we could get a seat close to the front for the whole family.
Emily was just as happy and content through the whole service!

I think we were a tad nervous! HA
You can't see Emily in this picture but they were getting the water ready.

Walking around with Preacher Roy. I think she was looking at ALL the kids in the children's choir that were gathered on the floor up front. They were wearing bright orange and it caught her eye!
He said she would be gathered down there with them soon enough.

She was worn out by the time we got home and slept through lunch!
Sweet girl had such a BIG weekend!

I cooked lunch for everyone.
We had BBQ meatballs, corn, green beans, fruit salad and cake.
Patti Cakes mades yummy cake and we have a LOT left over!

3 Months Old

Emily you have changed so much over the past few weeks! I LOVE this age and wished you would stay this little forever. You are still such a GOOD baby! You are just content as can be and rarely fuss. It is such a joy to watch you grow!

It's getting harder to photograph you! HA

At 3 months you are:
* wear size 1 diapers
* drink 5-6 oz
*wear 3 month clothes
* roll over almost every time you are on your tummy
*laugh when are tickled
* love to talk and be talked to
* were dedicated at church
* love to sit in your highchair
* kick & SPLASH during bath time
* want to be held up so can look around

Rhea Lana

Rhea Lana's in town! This was only my 2nd time to go. Last Fall I went as a Mother-t0-Be and found some adorable things, but this time I went a consignor. I only put a few things in it so I could shop early. I am just not ready to get rid of anything really. I am going to store Emily's clothes in tubs according to size and see if we have another little girl in the future!

I love going through those tightly filled racks and finding cute little outfits at SUPER cheap prices! Really what beats that? This time it was all Spring and Summer stuff.. but oddly enough I did find a smocked Christmas dress for next Christmas! HA.. So I snatched it up and put it back for later!
Here are a few of my favorites up close.

Couldn't pass up the pink crab!
Adorable smocked fish outfit!
Another cute smocked floral outfit!
Pillow case dress!
This one will go back for next summer but I couldn't pass it up because it's new and super cute!

There were lots of Momma's out there looking for clothes for their babies.
I really think it's worth going to even if you only find a few things.

Emily's Nursery

I have had a few requests to post Emily's finished nursery!
I thought I had done this but apparently time flew and I never got to it before having her.
So, 3 months later here is her nursery! HA

A friend of mine painted all of the canvases for me. She does excellent work and I love how they turned out!

I special ordered all the fabric from a little fabric store and had everything custom made!
I am SO happy with how it all turned out. It's such a peaceful little room and will grow with her for many years to come! It's not too babyish and not too big girly. I really didn't want a "themed" room. So I just incorporated little birds here and there. We are using the top of her dresser as the changing table. Her room is too small to have a separate changing table.

Her bed converts to a toddler and then a full size. Love that it grows with her.
All of her furniture came from Pickles & Ice Cream in LR.

She doesn't sleep in her crib yet. She is still in our room. She does nap in her crib though!

Her chest of drawers is behind her door. Love the dark wood!

I absolutely love how her window treatment turned out! It is a cornice board that stands out and slopes like an awning. Her curtains pull closed and have black out material for complete darkness when she sleeps.

Mike calls them "hotel curtains" because they have that pulley system on the side. HA

She has 2 small closets in her room.. and NO they both aren't full of clothes.... only 1 is! HA

Love this verse!
Sweet little birds!

It was SO fun decorating her nursery! I hope she likes flowers and birds when she get bigger! HA
